International Police (INTERPOL)has confirmed the arrest of suspected Nigerian International fraudster Raymond Igbalode, popularly known as Hushpuppi.Garba Umar,INTERPOL commissioner while confirming the arrest said there are plans to extradict Hushpuppi from the United Arab Emirates (UAE)back to Nigeria to face alleged multiple charges.Mr Umar further disclosed that INTERPOL is also on the trial of other accomplices in the alleged fraud who are resident in Nigeria.It could be recalled that Hushpuppi was arrested alongside his close friend Mr Woodberry on Tuesday night over alleged fraudulent covid 19 ventilator deal said to be worth #35million.He was also to be accused of hacking into the United States (US) unemployed database and impersonating citizens qualified for unemployment fund.
