Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has been disqualified from contesting the June 22nd primaries of the All Progressive Congress (APC).The chairman of the screening comitte in Abuja,while announcing the disqualification at the party headquarters in Abuja,said only three aspirants were qualified to contest.
According to the screening comitte,Governor Obaseki was disqualified due to the fact that the Higher School Certificate which he presented to the panel was said to be defective,as no such certificate in existence.Also the National Youth Service Corps certificate he presented did not have his name written properly.
