She summoned up courage and went inside,she was stunned at the height and beauty of the building.She felt like running away,she approached the receptionist,and told her why she was there.The receptionist a young lady in her late 20's, looked at her with disgust and wondered what such a person was doing there.She sarcastically asked her to wait,while she inquired through some phone calls.Meanwhile Nora's mind was elsewhere,she was fascinated by the interiors of the building,she wondered how it will be to work there.Something told her that it was not her Destiny to.She quietly moved round looking to use the opportunity to see the office she had only heard about.She observed how uniformly dressed the workers were,with expensive apparel.She noticed a small group gossiping at one corner.They were basically speaking I'll of the CEO,of how rude and annoying he was.One of the lady who she later found out to be Stella,the accountant said his father's wealth had gotten into hishl head and that he lived as if he owned the world.She was wondering how such a person could have all this bad characteristics,that she didn't realize that the receptionist has been signaling her over.She was directed to Mr Wale,the director in charge of marketing.Mr Wale a middle-aged man was about leaving his office when she approached him.She was about introducing herself to him,when the door opened and a young handsome man dressed in a black suit probably in his early twenties walked.And almost immediately everybody at that floor ran to their post to act like they were actually working.He walked passed everybody without acknowledging greetings aimed at him.Amanda a worker,began gushing to the others how handsome he looks , immediately he was no longer in sight.Meanwhile Nora was still processing what had just happened before her,she wondered why someone won't even answer common greeting.She had a lot to gist her mom,she thought.Back to the present,Mr Wale who was quiet all this while , quickly called her attention and asked for a favour,which was going to reward her #2,000 before signing her invoice.The request was for her to take coffee to the young man in his office.She was excited of the idea of getting #2000,but the idea of coming in direct contact to the devil scared her.All the same the money was simply too good to reject,she quickly collected the coffee from Amanda and proceeded to the office at the top most part of the building.Daniel a young havard graduate of twenty-three,dark in complexion with a killer eye is the only son of Martin Cooker,one of the richest men in the country.He and his younger sister were the source of pride of their parent.He was sitted in his office trying to go through a proposal when Nora walked in.She greeted him and made to drop the coffee and leave immediately when his voice stopped her.Her heart nearly left,in front of her was the devil himself.But a handsome one and his voice was as soft and innocent like a child.She wondered how such a person could be bad,looks can decieve indeed.He asked if she was the new secretary,Mr Wale brought in;before she could answer he told her to always be in time and waved her away.She ws confused about everything,she kept muttering secretary as she went down through the lift.She Met an anxious My Wake who was eager to know how it went.Mr Wake told her of how Daniel's secretary was given six months leave because of her pregnancy and Daniel had told him last week Friday to find someone temporarily,and how he had totally forgot until this morning.He pleaded with her to please assume the role until he can find someone,else his job will be on the line.Nora was shocked at the turn of events,the day could only get better;she had more story to tell her mom.
