Nora didn't see Daniel throughout that day nor did she know when he went home.Throughout that week he was his normal self,he never called her nor talked about it.She felt ashamed and pity on herself,here she was wanting the attention of a man that was far above her level and status.It was a Saturday,she had finished her chores and home and was about taking her siesta when a call came from her unknown number, what she heard was look through your window;as she did Daniel was standing in front of his car smiling.She could see his lovely smile,he then waved her to come out.He asked her to get dressed and come with him,when she asked whereto he replied her,"that it was a suprise.He took her to the milinieum Park in Abuja(a place of relaxation and recreation).On getting there more shock was on the way.She saw her mom and siblings and some few Friends all wishing her a happy birthday.Daniel himself was smiling,what an ambush this was;but she loved it.She had forgotten that it was her birthday,she also remembered telling Daniel when they were still in Lagos,how she would have loved a small birthday with just her mom and siblings.He had suprised her,she watched him as she played with her kid brother,he was such a nice guy it seems.Just then her phone rang,Ramsey asked her out on a date that night.The more she thought of it,the more she got confused;she liked Ramsey a lot he was always there for her and gave her peace of mind.But Daniel she felt something different,she longed to see him;she felt a lonely soul that needed her.She knew that she had to disappoint Ramsey as she couldn't leave Daniel.On Monday morning she was returning back to the office after going for her launch break,when she saw everyone in groups discussing,she wondered what it was about.On getting to her office,she saw a much older man who had a striking resemblance to Daniel,gush he was still handsome inspite of his age.Daniel introduced Nora to his father Chief Martin Cooker(OMN).Here in Nora's face was the face of the company she knew well.She had always suspected the resemblance.He only nodded and walked away.Daniel invited Nora to his family welcome party for his younger sister who had just graduated from the London School of Economics.Nora was coming back from church one evening when she saw a young lady being robbed of her belongings at gunpoint by two armed men.She immediately rushed to her the lady, but she was too late.The lady was scared and begging her not to hurt her with a British accent.Nora introduced her self and offered to help.Since it was late and the lady's phone was also stolen,she took her home gave her cloth and food.The lady narrated to her how she just came back from London where she had lived since the age of six,to go shopping that day.In the morning she thank Nora and promised to repay her kindness in time,she left with the little money Nora gave her for transport.Nora was putting on a black gown that brought out her beauty,she had just arrived at the official family residence of the Cookers when she saw Daniel and the lady she helped,both talking and laughing.She went close by and asked the lady what she was doing there,to her suprise Daniel introduced the lady as his younger sister who they were celebrating.Cindy Cooker was the younger sister to Daniel who had lived in England almost almost all her life.She was a beauty to behold,she was very kind and humble inspite of her wealth.She took over her characteristics from her mom,the late Nancy Cooker.Cindy is twenty years of age,but look far older,what a world(Nora thought). Nora met so many dignitaries and politicians there,some were men she had only seen on television.Soon it was time for the host to give his speech.Chief Martin used the opportunity to announce the marriage banner of his son Daniel Cooker to Miss Maltida Clarkson.Nora could not believe her ears as she collapsed.
