Daniel immediately set off for Nora's house.When he go to the door and knocked,a young boy answered and was told that Nora was inside with a friend.A friend?(he thought) who could that be?.Sitting close to Nora was Ramsey smiling and joking with her like they were twins.Ramsey had stalked Nora home after that night, then suprised her with a visit the next day.He had become a regular visitor since then.He was now her regular companion and source of joy.Daniel meanwhile was now feeling uneasy and Jealous,he wanted to get out of there fast.He stood up and was about leaving,when Nora asked him why he was leaving so soon,he found himself starmering for the first time.She was staring directly into his eye.All he could mutter was please come back to the office and left.Daniel was already sweating and wondered what was wrong with him.He has been with so many sophisticated women,how can one small girl be making him feel uneasy,He decided to stop by his cousin Edwards house.Edward unlike Daniel could be akin to a Casanova,he chased everything in skirt and refused to take over his own father's business.Edward saw Daniel looking sullen and inquired why his favorite cousin was down.He laughed when Daniel told him the story,he simply told him that it was not a case at all.He asked Daniel hope he was not falling in love with the little girl,he should remember his fiance Mirable.Mirable was the daughter of another rich conglomerate,both parents had decided their children should solemnize as man and wife so as to merge their companies and grow it further.Daniel was just a cog in machine,since he had no say.But he still slept with other models his cousin Edwards sends to him.Edward had told him not to worry,since he can still have mistress outside like other rich men do.Edward told him to use money and entice Nora to his bed,then bang like a flash he would forget her.Easier said than done Daniel thought.They both discussed and took some beers,till they passed out.Nora had resumed work on Monda morning,Daniel had been his usual self,except for his harsh tone.Work has resumed normal and everything seemed like it was settling into place.But sometimes she found herself thinking of the gentle side of Daniel.Ramsey was asking her to be his woman,and she asked him to give her time to decide.Daniel was in a board meeting with his secretary when they were deliberating on the fall in sales,there was confusion as no strategy used was working.They were about ending in deadlock when Nora out of the blue raised her hand to speak,Daniel was quietly observing proceedings.She suggested shifting production from some soft drinks to alcohol and dropping price;her reason was that why she was was still working at the warehouse people were complaining of the price and the low supple of the alcohol.Nora also asked them to create a direct contact with those marketing on the street,so as to serve their customers better.Daniel was impressed,he could give her a hug there(he thought). Meanwhile Nora found herself liking this new Daniel.She was between the devil and the deep blue sea,on what to tell Ramsey.
